Responsible for driving the design and execution of payment innovation strategies including alternative payment models (APMs) and other value-based reimbursement solutions.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ Provides oversight as the business lead for payment innovation strategies. Monitors and reports on status of key deliverables, milestones and dependencies.

+ Identifies key operational processes required to support implementation. Develops mitigation plans to address barriers and challenges.

+ Translates complex information and coordinates the communication and implementation of key decisions and accomplishments.

+ Provides analytical support and leadership including the analysis and synthesis of complementary programs and initiatives.

+ Works alongside analytic partners to model performance based contracts, including risk-sharing arrangements.

+ Partners with business leaders to develop and update an integrated roadmap of aligned strategies.

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 6+ years of experience working with executive level staff with broad & deep understanding of the health care industry, strategic planning and project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA, MHA or related degree preferred.

Some travel forstrategic meetings may be required.

Specific experience with the following are preferred:

+ General ancillary (dialysis, home health, skilled nursing facilities, etc.) provider contracting experience (from the provider or managed care perspective, preferably both)

+ Alternative Payment Model (APM) (including risk sharing arrangements) design, development and execution within the commercial payer marketplace with an emphasis on ancillary provider models

+ Development of incentive models that promote ancillary care-primary care clinical integration.
