+ JOB SUMMARY The Intern will work in many areas of the hospital including the Business Office, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Nutrition Services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Has completed either junior year or senior year of high school in MN, or is a post-secondary student enrolled in a two (2) year or four (4) year healthcare program in a MN educational institution, or is a resident of MN enrolled in a two (2) year or four (4) year healthcare program in an out of state educational institution. Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: N/A Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of OSHA, building, safety and health codes and requirements and Industrial Hygiene. Operational knowledge of computers required and knowledge of electronic systems and general construction principles desired. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures. SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
